XBHS Student Receives National Hispanic Recognition Award

Xaverian Brothers High School senior Benjamin Buie (West Roxbury) was recently named a College Board National Recognition Program awardee. Ben was selected for the National Hispanic Recognition Award, which is bestowed for academic achievement and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and/or AP® Exams. Eligible students must have a 3.5 GPA or higher at the time they are submitting the application. Additionally, they must score in the top 10% on the PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10 or score a “3” or higher on two or more distinct AP Exams in the eligible time period. 

Ben is a member of the National Honor Society. In addition to his academic accomplishments, he is a talented artist and serves as co-captain of Xaverian’s varsity tennis program.
