The St. Mary’s Ryken choir sang at the Mass during ‘The Journey’ pilgrimage last Saturday and several SMR students enjoyed the day filled with prayer, a living rosary, music and celebration! Thank you to the organizers and all of the community members who supported this fabulous event.
The buzzing of cicadas and a few colorful glints of dragonflies and butterflies – remnants of summer – could be seen and heard on St. Clement’s Island State Park during “The Journey” youth pilgrimage.
The Catholic youth who attended the event on Sept. 24 in St. Mary’s County, MD, were greeted with beautiful and breezy weather as they learned about the early beginnings of Catholicism in the English colonies.
