Students at St. John's Prep Build Compassion in Guatemala

Recently, ten students from St. John’s Prep returned from a service trip to Guatemala working with Habitat for Humanity. Along with their team leader, Mrs. Lucille Richards, who is the Director of the Center for Learning and Academic Success at St. John’s and a veteran of eight Habitat for Humanity builds, the students laid the foundation for a house and built two smokeless stoves. “I feel the most important aspects of the trip were the relationships we built with the people we met and the service we did.
