St. Mary’s Ryken Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent for College
In a presentation ceremony earlier this week, seven St. Mary's Ryken student-athletes signed national letters of intent for the college they plan to attend next fall.
JaKayla Brown a member of the girls varsity basketball team for four years has signed a National Letter of Intent for Hofstra University a NCAA Division I institution in Long Island, New York and a member of the Colonial Athletic Association. King Sandoval, a member of the varsity wrestling team at SMR for four years has signed his National letter of Intent for the University of Maryland a NCAA Division I school in College Park, Maryland and a member of the Big Ten Conference. Ty Oehlerking of the boys Lacrosse Team has signed a NLI with the University of Tampa a NCAA Division II school in Florida and a member of the Sunshine State Conference. From the girls lacrosse team, Allison Brown has signed a NLI with the University of Oregon, a NCAA D-I institution in Eugene and a member of the Pac 12. Also from the girls lacrosse team, Mia Creighton has been a member of the team for four seasons. As a sophomore she was named 3rd Team All WCAC and Honorable Mention and has signed with Winthrop University, a NCAA Division I school in Rock Hill, South Carolina and a member of the Big South Conference. A member of the girls track team for three seasons, Kelisa Cain has signed with Harvard University, a NCAA Division I school in the Ivy League in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Wynston Tabbs, a member of the boys basketball team for four seasons, has signed with Boston College a NCAA Division I school in the Atlantic Coast Conference and located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
