We’re Hiring: Executive Director of Sponsorship
We are delighted to announce a unique, national leadership role with one of the finest networks of Catholic schools in the country!
The Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools (XBSS) has retained our services to conduct a search for its new Executive Director of Sponsorship. This is a newly constituted role, which has been created following a comprehensive, two-year review of sponsorship and a broad, strategic discussion about the future direction of this outstanding network of schools. XBSS is comprised of 13 superb schools serving more than 13,000 students. The position is effective July 2017. The location where this new position will reside is flexible. The Board of Members is open to having the new Executive Director housed at its Baltimore headquarters or within one of its 13 sponsored schools.
To qualify for consideration, you will be expected to bring the following qualities and experiences:
- A practicing Catholic, preferably with Catholic school leadership experience but not necessarily so. The Board is also eager to welcome candidates from other mission-critical career platforms such as higher education, independent schools, Catholic associations, foundations, or charities.
- An entrepreneurial leader who can “envision” new possibilities for the network and work respectfully and collaboratively with school heads and boards in achieving consensus for new initiatives. The ability to work effectively with school heads and boards is critical.
- A great communicator and passionate leader who can represent XBSS to the larger Catholic community across the country while raising the profile and distinction of Xaverian Brothers education and values.
This is not a top down leadership role but one requiring humility, vision, persistence and persuasion. Please click HERE to read the full position profile.
