Engineering Pioneers: Makerspace Unveiling at Saint John’s High School
From weather balloons to 3D printing, SJ students are embracing engineering in the new Makerspace lab.
This summer kicks off an exciting new initative engaging Saint John's High School. Students interested in engineering, robotics, technology, and design will have a new space to collaborate and create. The school plans to overhaul space in the Ryken Center specifically geared to expand the engineering curriculum and robotics program.
Students, faculty, and alumni started the conversation rolling with the unveiling of the new Makerspace on June 22. Along with students and faculty, guests were encouraged to participate in round-table discussions to help shape the future of Saint John’s science and engineering programs.
