A New Year Begins at Lowell Catholic

Lowell Catholic 1st through 12th grade students have returned to campus this week. LC’s incoming freshman started the week early on Monday with a retreat day full of ice-breakers, games that helped to forge new bonds of friendship and upperclassmen who shared a bit about their experience as a Crusader. “It was a seamless transition from Lowell Catholic Elementary to the High School. I already felt like part of the community and although I was really coming to a new school, I truly felt at home. I also saw other freshmen that I met last year at the city wide retreats hosted by LC and am excited to be making so many new friends at once” said Lexi Guignard LC’ 21.

On Tuesday, LC’s Elementary students in grades 1-8 began their school year greeted by Head of School, Maryellen DeMarco, Associate Principal of Elementary Education, Dan Price and high school student volunteers eager to welcome families back to school. Sister Jane Holland led the assembled students in prayer and wished everyone a successful year. Pre-K and Kindergarden students return to campus this upcoming week.
